Dan Fette currently serves on the Board of Directors, Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Dallas, and chairman of "Green Built North Texas" the Greater Dallas HBA's new green building program. Dan Fette Builders, Inc. won the 2007 Texas Environmental Excellence Award in the small business category, and that same year won a "CLIDE" (Celebrating Leadership in Design Excellence) Award from the North Central Texas Council of Governments for its work on Nevada Court in Denton. That same project won a Best in American Living Award (BALA) in Feb. 2008 at the International Builders Show.
